Ordering and Shipping

► How do I place an order?
Simply add your selections to your cart and proceed to the secure check out. The shipping costs will be presented according to the size of the painting.

► What payment forms do you accept?
Forms of payment include credit card and PayPal. Payment is in US dollars (USD).

► How long does it take for me to receive my artwork?
Once I receive your order, if the painting is acrylic, I seal it with UV protective varnish. The varnish takes up to 3 works to dry completely. If it already has resin on it, that saves a step and I can send your artwork more quickly.  All artwork is wrapped in special art paper, padded well and placed in a sturdy cardboard box. Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for domestic orders and 3-4 weeks for international orders to arrive. I am not responsible for any package that is undeliverable. Please enter your phone number when you check out, in case the mail delivery service needs to contact you.

► How do you ship paintings?
Canvas paintings will be sent stretched (remaining on the wooden frame). I ship smaller paintings by Canada Post, and larger paintings by commercial courier. If you are local (Montreal), I can deliver the artwork in person or you can arrange to pick it up.

► How are shipping costs calculated ?
The shipping cost is calculated based on the size of the painting, and the destination.
For shipments to the US and Canada, I have flat rates for shipping, according to the size and weight of each painting. You will see on the order page. If you have a specific requirement for shipping please contact me before your purchase so we can discuss the best shipping method.

► Do you ship internationally ?
Yes, depending on the size of the piece and the country. For overseas shipment (outside of Canada and the US), canvas paintings larger than 12×12″ are carefully removed from the wooden stretcher bars and shipped rolled to reduce shipping costs.  If you prefer to leave the painting on the wooden frame, additional costs will apply. Checkout is already configured to provide you with both shipping options for your purchase. If you did not see these options for your country during checkout you can contact me so I can assess the cost of the desired shipping method for you.

► How do you stretch or frame the painting?
If the canvas is sent detached from the wooden frame and shipped rolled, you can have the canvas stretched on wooden stretcher bars at a framing store in your area. The painting will return to its original flat state once stretched. You can also choose to add a frame if you like.

► Who pays the taxes and custom fees?
For international sales, the buyer is responsible for any taxes, duties, and fees that may occur in the receiving country. Please contact your local customs authorities if you wish to inquire further about the rules in your country that pertain to importing original artwork. The USA typically does not charge taxes or import duties on original artwork shipped from Canada. However, different rules may apply to each state, or regulations may change, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to validate the rules for their state.

► What happens in case of damage or loss during shipping?
You will be fully refunded in case of any loss or damage that occurs during shipment. Once the painting arrives, please inspect it carefully. If there is any damage please take photos and contact me immediately.
