Shipping policy
Art prints:
US art print orders come directly from within the US. Canadian art prints are created in Montreal, Canada.
For USA based customers, your art will be shipped straight to you from within the USA or, if geographically convenient, from Montreal Canada. I fulfil my USA and Canada artwork orders from my partner fine-art printing facilities based in New York and Montreal.
Original artwork:
If the painting is 36 x 36 or smaller, it will be sent on its frame. For larger paintings, I might remove them from the frame and sent them rolled. (It depends on where they are going). This saves greatly on shipping costs. When you receive the painting, simply bring it to a local frame shop and they will stretch it on the wooden frame. I ship smaller paintings in Canada by Canada Post. All larger paintings are shipped by commercial courier. If you are local (Montreal), I can deliver the artwork in person or you can arrange to pick it up. Use the code StudioPickup.
For overseas shipment (outside of Canada and the US), larger canvas paintings are carefully removed from the wooden stretcher bars and shipped rolled to reduce shipping costs. Please contact me for shipping options for your country.
International shipping charges DO NOT INCLUDE any applicable import taxes, customs duties or fees that are due upon entry into the destination country. Duties, fees and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient, and are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Customs policies vary widely from country to country and can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
Note for US customers: Original artwork remains tariff-free when shipped to the US, although the courier may apply a handling or brokerage fee upon delivery. These fees are set by the courier, and I’m not able to see them in advance. A CUSMA certificate of Origin will be affixed to your package, but you can also download a pdf copy.
All artwork is sent with tracking number. Delivery time will depend on the destination and time of year. If we are aware of circumstances that may delay delivery we will inform you as soon as we can. Please note that we are not in control of the shipping services and do not assume liability for late deliveries or lost packages by the postal service or other couriers.
